How to Play Lotto Max

Manually select 7 numbers from 1 to 49, or opt to use the Quick Pick system to automatically choose your 7 numbers. $5 buys you three selections of 7 numbers.

The minimum first prize pool is $10 million, and if unclaimed the jackpot increases by $5 million per draw. Once the jackpot reaches $50 million the first prize is capped at this figure, and the game reaches a state known as MaxMillions.

In MaxMillions each $1 million in the first prize pool in excess of the capped first prize is drawn as individual $1 million prizes. For example, if the game goes into MaxMillions mode, and there is $60 million in the first prize pool, the jackpot first prize would be $50 million, and 10 other players would be in the running for the $1 million MaxMillions prizes.

Note, the first prize jackpot must be claimed in order for the MaxMillions prizes to be awarded, and that just as with the first prize, you need to have all 7 numbers of the draw to win MaxMillions.
